Lilla Rose Hair Accessories #Giveaway

Hey, y'all! It's been quite a while since we've had a giveaway on here, so I thought now would be a good time to combine a giveaway along with some news about my recent home business venture. I just became a stylist with Lilla Rose, makers of hair accessories (or hair jewelry as some people call them). My first encounter with Lilla Rose products was years ago, and lately I've been using their products quite frequently. I used to purchase hair clips and the like at our local department store, and then realized I was paying about as much for cheap hair clips that broke within a month or two as I would for the stylish, quality products from Lilla Rose!

One thing I immediately noticed was the quality and durability of these accessories. I have Lilla Rose clips that are 5 or 6 years old and they still look and work just as great as they did the day I bought them! I also love the variety of styles and designs they have. No matter what your interests are, there are so many beautiful designs for every occasion. They also come in multiple sizes for every hair length, type, and style. Just look - the four pictures below are styles I have personally done on myself or my sister with various Lilla Rose clips!

So, to get this started, I'm going to giveaway a $17.00 "Lilla Bucks" Gift Code! This will cover the cost of many items on the site, or you can choose one of the more expensive items and then just cover the price difference. Whatever you choose, I know you will love it! The entry options will be simple, so let's get this giveaway running!

3 Best Ways To Prep Your Home for Sale

Ready to put your home up for sale? Not so fast, there are minor home improvements that should be done in order for your home to attract interest and sell for top dollar. Here are three great ways to prepare your home to hit the market!
1. Make Exterior Repairs
In order to give buyers a warm first impression from the start, you need to make sure your home’s exterior is in excellent condition. Repair any damaged screens or storm doors and give everything a fresh coat of paint for a brand-new look. In addition, pay attention to the condition of your gutters. Damaged or broken gutters signal to a buyer that a house isn’t receiving appropriate care. Consult a professional in gutter replacement St Louis to fix this important exterior element and provide a major boost to your home’s curb appeal.

2. Update Your Landscaping
As you prepare your home to hit the real estate market, don’t forget to address your landscaping. Keep bushes, trees and all areas of turf neat and tidy. It’s also a great idea to plant colorful flowers throughout your property. Updating your landscaping makes your home appear more cheerful, making buyers want to come inside instead of scaring them away.
3. Clean and Declutter
In order to give buyers a full picture of what it would feel like to live in your home, depersonalize your interior spaces by cleaning and decluttering every room. Since you want to be sure your home appears to have plenty of storage, it may be wise to rent a storage unit to temporarily hold your excess personal belongings. The easier a buyer is able to envision life in a space, the more likely they are to make an offer!
By following these tips, you’ll properly prepare your home to welcome potential buyers. You’ll sell your home in no time and be on to your next adventure!

How To Upgrade Your Home's Backyard

A well-designed and attractive backyard can be an exceptional asset for your home. It's a place where you can relax and unwind, and it can also offer you an alternative to entertaining indoors. If your home's yard isn't inviting or conducive to a relaxing Saturday afternoon or dinner with friends, there are a few easy projects you can complete to significantly upgrade it.

1. Improve Privacy

One thing that can instantly diminish your desire to relax in your yard is the feeling that all your neighbors are watching you. Adding a high-quality fence can provide you with privacy and several additional benefits: increased home value, improved aesthetics, and upgraded security. There are several different materials you can use to build a fence, so you can choose one that fits the style of your home. You can learn about the available options from a fence company Salem OR.

2. Add Plants

An attractive backyard has more than just a nice, green lawn. Interesting bushes and flowering plants are both beautiful and helpful; some plants can provide support for dwindling honeybee populations and others can help deter unwanted insects, such as mosquitos. Choose plants that work well for the amount of shade in your yard and those that thrive in your local growing zone.

3. Create a Relaxing Environment

It's difficult to spend time in your yard reading a book or enjoying a meal with friends when you don't have enough comfortable seating. Chairs, tables, and swings are all excellent furniture options for outdoor entertaining spaces. You may want to create an outdoor dining area on your patio or deck and then add a comfy chair or bench to another part of your yard, such as under a shady tree.
Upgrading your backyard can turn it from a boring lawn to an enjoyable outdoor entertainment area. A good fence, comfortable outdoor furniture, and beautiful plants are all excellent additions to a backyard.
