Front Porch Pets Sweet Potato Dog Chews #Giveaway #Petacular

Our dogs love chew bones. However, I've heard a lot of horror stories about the rawhide type chews, so I really don't like giving them to my pets. I was thrilled to discover Front Porch Pets, which offers a complete line of dog chews, bones and "cookies", all made from sweet potatoes! They're called Sam's Yams, and they come in a variety of shapes, flavors and sizes. 

I received a box of Sam's Yams goodies. This included 1 package of every product; Sam's Yams Bichon Fries, Big Boyz and Veggie Rawhides, the Sam's Yams Cookies in Berry Yammy, Green and Clean, Cranapple Crunchers, Hoppin' Good Carrot Crunchers and Pumpkin Cruncher, as well as the Calmy Chamomile Bones. When I opened the box, all 3 of our Shelties came in to check it out.

We have since tried all of the Sam's Yams products (or rather our dogs have tried them :). I love being able to give a chew or bone to my dog, without worrying about the possibility of rawhide getting stuck in her throat. The Big Boyz are great to keep her busy while we're out running errands, or during the night.

The dogs all seem to enjoy all of the Sam's Yams, cookies, and bones, but Glory has a particular favorite-she LOVES the Bichon Fries! I don't know if it's the size or shape, or what, but she really loves them. These are made with sweet potato just like the other treats and chews, but they're cut like french fries. These are definitely Glory's favorite; it's funny to see how she prefers them, even though they're the same ingredients as the other sweet potato chews!
