Okay, I apologize for this post being a day late, but yesterday was hectic-I spent most of the day in the kitchen making biscuits and Cincinnati-style chili for a dinner party of 20. The party was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work and preparation! Anyways, that is why this post didn't go up yesterday. It's also a reason I'm very thankful for this post, because after all the calories in the chili, biscuits, and cupcakes for dessert, I'm in need of some meals that are low-calorie, yet filling!
AmBari sent me the variety pack of Protein Meal Replacement Bars. This pack includes 7 bars in different flavors; Chocolate Caramel Wafer, Chocolate Almond Wafer, Cinnamon Crisp, S'mores Chocolate, Fudge Graham Crisp, Peanut Crisp and Mint Cocoa. Each bar contains 15 grams of protein, 17 vitamins and minerals, and only 160 calories! I tried replacing 1 meal a day with one of the AmBari bars. I usually replace either breakfast or dinner, and found that the bar really works great. I don't end up hungry an hour later; it's very filling (packed with protein) and leaves me feeling comfortably full.
