Klee Girls-Natural & Safe Makeup for Girls!

A short time before Christmas I shared about a safe, natural makeup line for little girls, and mentioned that I would be reviewing some of their products. Well, I did receive a kit a few weeks ago, so here is the promised review!

We received the Natural Mineral Makeup Kit from the Klee Girls line, in the Up and Away color selection. This kit includes Mesa Verde and Acadia Breeze Eye Shadow, Delray Reflection Blush, Silver Sparkles Face and Body Shimmer, Rich Pink Lemonade and Strawberry Shortcake Lip Balm, and Hartford Nail Polish.
Just like most girls, M loves "trying on" makeup, and at least once a week, asks to "makeup her face". So, I was thrilled to have these products, designed especially for young girls, that are safe an non-toxic.

M and her sister had a lot of fun using the Klee Girls Makeup Kit. They applied everything, from nail polish (one of M's favorites) to the face shimmer and lip balm!

I love that the makeup is easy to remove, and is made with natural ingredients.  Not chemicals that will damage or irritate a girl's sensitive skin. Instead, you can breathe easy when your preteen asks to wear makeup-because Klee Girls is made with natural minerals! The only thing I didn't care for with the Klee Girls makeup, is how glittery and sparkly the face and body shimmer is. I understand for very little girls, but at 12 and 13, I think many girls are ready for something a little more "grown-up". For example M, although she had fun with the face and body shimmer, said she wouldn't wear it out anywhere-it was just for fun around the house. The rest of the makeup, however, she really likes, and enjoys being able to have her very own makeup kit!

Be sure to visit Luna Star Naturals for more information about their makeup for girls. They even have a line for little girls, perfect for when your 4 or 5 year old wants to play dress up!

  1. I love the fun packaging. I agree with you about the shimmer, and I think it would be great if they made it more wearable for girls to go out in public in.
