Perfect For The Holidays-D-Link Cloud Camera #SGSG
Do you have any road trips planned for this holiday season? We usually head to Chicago for a week to visit friends right around Thanksgiving, but this year we've opted to stay home and enjoy the holiday as a family at home. However, we do have some road trips planned for after Thanksgiving. Because of how much traveling we do-especially around the holidays-including some very extended trips, I was excited about the chance to review a product that I have never experienced before. D-Link sent me the Cloud Camera 1150 for review, a Day/Night Network Camera.
I had a general idea of what a cloud camera was, but after use, I am thrilled with what I can now do! This is absolutely perfect for any one who travels a lot, and wants to be able to keep an eye on their home, family, or pets while gone. The Cloud Camera 1150 is easy to set up, and offers monitoring for light and dark situations.
Personally, I think one of the best features of this security camera is the audio and/or motion detection alerting. You can customize the settings to determine what is normal for your home, and then you will receive an email alert when anything beyond that is detected. I love that this will alert me to a sound or movement in the house, and I will feel much more secure when the entire family is away for a couple weeks.
Another great feature is that your can access your camera feed from any computer, or iPhone or Android device, using Mydlink. That means you can monitor the camera feed from the car, a friend's house, or even halfway around the world! Simply sign in to your mydlink account, and you can view the feed!
The Cloud Camera 1150 also allows for night monitoring, with a good clear picture of what is going on up to 15 feet away from the camera. I was actually quite impressed with this; it really does have great night-time viewing!
As you can see, the Cloud Camera 1150 would make the perfect gift for a frequent traveler this holiday season. You can purchase the Cloud Camera 1150 online at D-Link, or check out their selection of other security cameras!
Disclosure: I received product in exchange for a review; I was not monetarily compensated for this review. I was not required to post favorably about the product or company. The opinions are completely my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
