I have to admit, with plumbing issues being discussed on here so much in the past few weeks or so, I have been racking my brain to try and think of any funny issues we've had in the past. Of course, most of them were definitely NOT funny at the time they occurred, but now looking back, they are a great story to share! I think I have shared all the big plumbing disasters we have experienced, but I am sure we all have some small issues that turned into a funny situation. You know, all those times that one of the little kids would drop a toy or small item into the toilet? The way our bathroom is set up, we have a towel rack over the back of the toilet. No matter how many times we stress the need to keep only towels on the rack, inevitably one of the children will put a book, bath toy, or even the toilet paper roll back on the shelf. It is only a matter of time before one of these items gets knocked into the toilet! Then, you hear the call for Mommy or one of the older children, and we have to fish it out. Thankfully, we have never had any of the items get stuck or get flushed down, where it would cause major blockage and require a professional plumber to fix the problem! How embarrassing would it be to call a plumber out to the house just because one of the children flushed a rubber duck down the toilet?!
Feel free to share any funny plumbing stories in the comments section. I'm always up for a laugh, and I have heard some crazy stories so share away!
