Real Estate

Are any of my readers in the market for a new home? Maybe your family is growing, and you need something a little bigger, or maybe a job transfer requires a move to a different city or state. Although we currently have no plans or intentions of moving, it is something we have been discussing lately. Especially on our recent trip to Florida, during which we were able to visit with many friends, both on our way to Florida, and while in the Sunshine State. I don't think I would want to live in Florida, but there are a couple areas in the South that I would enjoy living. If you have been looking for a new home, you can look at kansas city real estate online, or check the website for real estate in other areas of the country.

Since we are discussing moving and new homes, I'll share a few things that I consider important when house shopping. First, location is very important. Not just location in the sense of midwest, south, etc. but location as in the distance to the nearest city, grocery stores, and that sort of thing. I do not want to live right in or even right near a large city. My dream home would be a short distance (maybe 10-15 minutes) to a decent sized city, with a Super Wal-Mart, grocery stores, plenty of dining options (think Cracker Barrel and Chick-Fil-A :) and of course a Kohl's nearby would be great too! (Yep, I plan my location based on very important things as you can see!). Seriously though, after spending a year in an area where we had to drive over an hour for a Wal-Mart, and 4 hours for a Wendy's or Home Depot, location became very important to me!

Of course location isn't everything (in spite of what they say) so I would also be looking for some specifics in the home. At least 3 bedroom, and while not a necessity, 2 bathrooms would be a huge seller for me. The kitchen is another aspect I take very seriously; I need plenty of cupboards and storage space, and a long countertop for cooking and baking! These are probably the items at the top of my list for if/when we ever move.

This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
