SGSG-Timex Ladies Weekender Watch Review!

I love wristwatches. Even though I have a cellphone that tells the time, I still love wearing a watch. I actually have a few different ones for different occasions. My favorites, though, are the leather strap watches. I don't know why, but I much prefer leather straps to a metal (silver or gold) band. I already have a black leather watch, but for those dressy casual events, or for something that will actually match or at least blend with my outfit, I recently received a Timex Weekender Strap Watch.

This watch features a light tan strap, with pale pink highlighting along the sides. It's very feminine, yet has a touch of the outdoor adventurer spirit as well! The band is made up of 3 strands, with 1 crossing over the other 2 on each side of the face. I love how this adds a touch of class to a casual outfit, or nicely blends in a with a dressier style.

The watch is extremely sturdy, and after constant wear, still looks and works great. Unlike many leather-banded watches I've had, this one isn't cracking around the hole I buckle it at. It has a little sign of wear, but not the ugly cracks and peeling!

Timex has a watch for every style and every occasion, so be sure to visit their website for some great gift ideas!

  1. I've always had Timex watches. Even though I have a cell phone to tell the time, I still like to wear watches. Timex is a good reliable company.

  2. I prefer leather bands because metal ones are always too big and I hate having to go to a jeweler to shorten the links. Timex is a longtime respected company, and always reliable.
