The Tea Spot Review!!
Remember not too long ago I mentioned that I was really starting to enjoy tea? Well, this company I'ms sharing this evening has absolutely the best flavored teas I have ever tasted! The Tea Spot is a great site to find loose leaf and gourmet teas, as well as teaware. I was able to choose a couple loose leaf teas for review, and it took some deliberation before settling on the Early of Grey and Strawberry Fields.
When the teas arrived, I immediately set about brewing up a cup. The Earl of Grey was my first selection, as it really sounded like the perfect cup of tea. Upon opening the pouch, I was greeted by a wonderful aroma, which only intensified during the brewing process. I must admit I often opt for tea bags over loose leaf, just for convenience, but since trying the Earl of Grey tea, I am sold on the idea of loose leaf tea! This is definitely my favorite tea of the two I tried, and is perfect for to get that early morning chill off. I love making a cup and sitting outside in the morning, just relaxing, enjoying the fresh air, and doing morning devotions. It is the perfect start to my day!
The second tea, Strawberry Fields, is a flavored herbal tea. It's naturally caffeine free, and is made with fruits and flowers. I enjoy this one hot, but my favorite way to sip Strawberry Fields is in a nice tall glass, slightly sweetened, and poured over ice! It is so refreshing, and the perfect afternoon pick-me-up, or for a cool drink after my morning workout. Because it's naturally sweet, it only takes a small bit of sugar to have a tasty glass of strawberry-flavored herbal tea.
