I was impressed with more than just the handy size of the Super Kim though. I like the sturdy design that won't get damaged easily. Our family goes through can openers like paper towels (not that bad really, but our can openers stop working pretty regularly :). The Super Kim, however, has lasted quite well, and still opens cans as fast and smoothly as when I first used it. This also means that it travels well, whether it's in your glove compartment, or a pocket in your luggage. Again, I speak from experience here, as I have brought it on a couple trips.
