Traveling Days #6 Acli-Mate Sport Drink Review!!

Do you worry about the ingredients in your favorite sports drink? Our family drinks a lot of sport drinks, especially during the summer, when we're outside and active much of the day. If you've ever wished for a natural substitute for that sugar-loaded drink, then this one's for you!

Acli-Mate is a dual purpose Sport Drink. Designed to prevent altitude sickness as well as assist you in performing at maximum ability, it comes in a convenient single-serve packet that you simply pour in a bottle of water and shake to blend. I received packets of several flavors; Elevation Orange, Mountain Grape and Colorado Cran-Raspberry, as well as Orange Mango and Cran-Raspberry Endurance drinks. I am saving a couple packets for a trip we have planned later this year, when we'll be heading out to Utah. However, even though I'm not at a high elevation right now, I tried a couple anyways. These are great for drinking before or during a workout. I enjoyed the flavors I tried (Orange Mango in the Endurance, and Mountain Grape in the Energy). They're very tasty, and I didn't feel like I was drinking a syrup or overly sweet drink. I usually just drink water during a workout, simply because I don't care for the sugar rush of energy or sports drinks, but that wasn't a problem with these.

I also like the ease of simply slipping a packet into my gym bag, and mixing it up when I'm ready for healthy hydration. Speaking of healthy, these drinks are loaded with vitamins to help you perform and recover better! Here are just a few of the ingredients in these natural sports drinks:
  • B-vitamins at 50% of the RDA per serving for energy, stamina and adrenal support.
  • Balanced electrolytes to reduce premature muscle fatigue and cramping and promote maxiumum cellular hydration.
  • Calcium and magnesium to further reduce the risk of muscle cramps and spasms.

"Acli-Mate® Mountain Sport Drink is a unique and energizing natural sport drink designed to aid in the prevention of altitude sickness AND assist mountain athletes in maximizing performance at elevation. The specific combination of natural ingredients including vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and select herbal extracts make Acli-Mate® Mountain Sport Drink ideal for mountain visitors and athletes!"
