Traveling Days #1-WalletGear Review!!

Hey all, and welcome to day 1 of Traveling Days! This is going to be a fun event, and will hopefully help you out with some family vacation ideas, as well as let you know about some really useful travel gear. To get Traveling Days kicked off to a great start, I decided to showcase one of the most handy little pieces for vacation, road trips, or just a weekend away.

WalletGear sent me the Small Leather Waist Pouch for review. The pouch is made of genuine leather, and has that wonderful leather feel and smell. I absolutely love leather! As you would expect with a leather pouch, this is incredibly strong and sturdy. It's also very comfortable, and you literally forget it's strapped around your waist. The pouch features 2 long zipper pockets, 2 smaller zippered pockets, and a "gusset pocket" with a velcro closure. The belt is adjustable, so it will fit most people, and can be changed to fit as snug or loose as you'd like.

The small size of this pouch is a definite benefit, as it will hold all the accessories I need, but isn't so large or bulky that it gets heavy or annoying. I use this for carrying my cellphone, id and other cards, cash, and an extra ponytailer. I have also brought along some extra batteries for my camcorder in this; it's so much easier than a shoulder bag! Often when I bring my camcorder along to an event or for a family trip, I end up recording almost the entire day, so it stays in my hand. That leaves the camera bag slipping off my shoulder, and generally just getting in the way. Now I can leave that bag home, and store my camcorder accessories in the waist pouch!

Check out this and other great items at WalletGear today! You'll be impressed by the selection and the low prices!

  1. I would like to have one of these pouches. They would be great to use to go on a walk. I do not like to carry a large bag for walk, but something like this just to put a few necessary items would be fantastic.
