Marie Dean Beauty Review and Giveaway!!

I recently had the opportunity to try out a few products from Marie Dean Hair and Body Care, and I really enjoyed the experience! Marie Dean offers handmade beauty products for your hair and body, and I love the fresh, just-for-you aspect of this. I received 3 products for review; Peppermint Foot Butter, Shea Nilotica Butter, and my personal favorite, Coconut Chocolate Chip Soft Curls Styling Cream.

Let me start by saying this...Chocolate for your hair. Is. Amazing. Seriously!! I am what you could call a chocoholic. So when I saw this hair cream, and even better, realized it was for curly hair, I knew this was one product I wanted to try. I opened the jar as soon as it arrived, and knew I hadn't made a mistake in requesting this. It really smells like chocolate! Of course, as good as a product smells, if it doesn't work it's no help. So, I didn't let myself get too excited. The next morning after washing my hair and towel drying, I applied some of the cream, combed and scrunched, and let it air dry. I'm used to hair products that I literally have to drown my hair in, and it wasn't long before I realized I had overdosed my hair with the cream. So, I rinsed it out, and tried again, this time with just a dab of the cream. Success! The cream gave a softer feel to my coarse hair, and helped define the curls and waves. The best part? All day, I kept getting a whiff of chocolate! I love that it only takes a very small amount too, as that means the jar lasts longer :)

It doesn't get any better than this...chocolate for your hair!

The Peppermint Foot Butter was another hit with me. I have very dry skin on my feet, and between various sports, and the fact that I don't spend the time I should caring for my feet, they can get pretty rough. However, I decided to apply this every morning, and use it right before bed as well. It didn't take long for my feet to start looking healthy and moisturized, rather than the cracked and peeling skin I normally have! This also has a wonderful peppermint fragrance, that's strong but not overpowering. 

The Shea Nilotica Butter is an awesome product for anyone with dry skin. Very rich, and providing powerful hydration to your skin. It also works on hair, although I haven't tried that yet.
