For anyone (if anyone) who eagerly awaits to see my progress on the Nutrisystem program, I apologize for being a day late with this one! For my Dad's birthday every year our entire family gathers at a campground and we spend a few days with good friends and family. So, yesterday was spent packing up and traveling back home-by the time I got back, I did NOT feel like staying up to write this!
Anyways, I actually gained a little this past week. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, since I did have a little ice cream and a cupcake, as well as a meal where the only thing nearby was Burger King. I did eat chicken, no fries, and a diet soda, but BK still isn't the greatest while trying to eat healthy :) So yes, I gained back 1.2 pounds. I'm disappointed, because I was so close to that first 10-pound loss goal, but I'm not giving up! I determined to stay strictly with the program this week, and see how much ground I can make up for. I'm hoping and working for the best!
One thing I did enjoy even during the busy weekend, was the ease of being able to bring along my Nutrisystem foods. (Except for the evening I didn't realize we'd be out until 11:00 at night, and ended up stuck at BK :) The bars make lunch a breeze, and I just added a salad or yogurt to make a whole meal. Of course, breakfast and dinners were easy, with the shelf stable foods. I was even able to eat my own pizza one night everyone else ordered in pizza, and pasta while everyone else ate spaghetti!
