Haan Steam Mop Review-Awesome!!

Okay, so I don't often share my enthusiasm for a product in the title, I know. But the Haan Agile SI40 Steam Mop with Swivel Head really is amazing!
I received my Steam Mop from HAAN a couple weeks ago, and was very excited to try it out.

We have a couple carpeted rooms in our home, but most of it is hardwood or tiled. This makes cleaning easier in some ways, but harder in others. For example, we have to mop quite frequently, but at least it's easier to mop a mess up than rent a carpet cleaner every few weeks! Anyways, I was very pleased at the prospect of cleaning up with a steam mop, and opened it up right away. The mop arrived in 3 pieces, but it is super-easy to "assemble", as it just pops into place. Once assembled, I filled the water tank, placed it on the included pad, and plugged it in. Within 20 seconds, the mop was steaming, and I was ready to go. I started with a small, not-too-hard spot that needed wiped up.

After a couple of quick swipes, this is how the floor looked:

So far so good, but I knew this area was pretty easy. So, I checked around the house for any really messy areas that needed cleaned up, and didn't have to go far. One of the kids apparently spilled some Kool-Aid in the kitchen, and rather than wiping it up, just left it so sit and soak. A good trial run for the Agile SI40, as it had run under the kitchen counter/dishwasher area!

Yeah, it looked pretty disgusting! So, I brought the SI40 Steam Mop into the kitchen, and went to work. I was impressed with the ease of cleaning in this hard to reach area. No more getting down on hands and knees simply to reach under the counter! The swivel head and small size of the mop worked great to reach all the way back and clean up the entire mess. Within a matter of 1-2 minutes, my floor looked so much better:
Can you say awesome?!
Yeah, that's what I thought-the Agile SI40 is amazing! For one last product test, I tried it out on our bedroom carpet. The manual includes instructions for use on a fresh pet stain on carpeted areas. A couple weeks before our cat had tracked a bit of a mess on our carpet, and it didn't come out with carpet cleaner. So, using the carpet tray, I worked over the area.
Before
After
Although you can still see the spot a tiny bit, it looks so much better! I couldn't believe how much it came out, after a couple weeks of setting in to the carpet. I imagine with a fresh stain, it would all come right out!

So, as you can imagine after reading this, I am super impressed with the HAAN SI40 Steam Mop. I love the compact size, the swivel head that makes cleaning anywhere a breeze, the easy usage, and how clean it makes my floors! I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about my new mop, and I am loving being able to keep my floors so clean so easily!

  1. I so need one of these! We have pet stains all over the house; if I had one of these, I'd try to catch the stain right away.

  2. I have never tried a steam mop before. Every year or so I do get professional carpet cleaning done. It might be worth a try to do it myself with a steam mop after seeing the results. I pay so much money to get my carpets cleaned.
