TreSemme Flawless Curls Hair Care-Review!!
Anyone with hair that naturally curls or waves, is familiar with the trial such hair can be. Don't get me wrong; I am appreciative of my natural waves/curls, but sometimes dealing with the frizz or tangles gets so frustrating! Recently, though, I have been using a product that has drastically cut down on those "bad hair days".
TreSemme sent me the Flawless Curls shampoo and conditioner for review. I was totally unaware they even had aline of products for curly hair until a few weeks ago, so finding this was a pleasure. I am familiar with TreSemme, and love the quality products at low prices-I have paid the extra for salon products before, but it's not something I can do on a regular basis. Anyways back to Flawless Curls :)
The shampoo has a very pleasant scent that is not overpowering. With many shampoos, I have to use a half-dollar amount, due to my long and thick hair. Using that much of the Flawless Curls shampoo would be a total waste though; it only takes about a nickel-size amount to thoroughly wash my hair! That means in addition to the already lower cost, a bottle will last longer because I only need a small amount. Another thing I noticed right away was that the shampoo cleaned my hair, but didn't seem to dry it out. Some shampoos I've tried really strip my hair, and I need uber-amounts of conditioner to get it moisturized properly. None of that with the TreSemme Flawless Curls; I get clean hair without over drying.
The conditioner is a perfect ending to your daily hair routine in the shower. Again, it only requires a small amount to get the full effects. I love how this product moisturizes my curls but doesn't weigh them down. I don't see any product build-up with the Flawless Curls conditioner; my hair is soft and hydrated, but not greasy or weighed down. After using the system for a while now, I am impressed and will be trying out the other products in the Flawless Curls line! I have finally found a low-cost hair care system that really works!
If you have curly or wavy hair, check out TreSemme's Flawless Curls line.

SayHelloDiamonds.com Necklace Review!!
Every woman loves jewelry. I'm not a huge jewelry nut (I wear much less jewelry than most of my friends), but even I enjoy getting a new piece. My favorite look is elegant simplicity; I don't care for loud or big jewelry. So, when I discovered SayHelloDiamonds, I was thrilled to see the selection of beautiful jewelry that had that simple elegance that I love.
I received the Jolie necklace for review. The Jolie is a pear-shaped pendant, set in sterling silver. A slender bar adorned with diamond accents connects the pendant to the chain. When I saw the picture of this necklace it immediately caught my eye. When I actually received the necklace and opened it, though, I was amazed at the beauty! It is so simple, and yet so gorgeous! Very breathtaking!
The Jolie is very well made, and the chain, while thin, isn't the type that will snap or break easily. The necklace features a spring ring clasp, that stays securely closed.
The best part is that it matches with any outfit. I have been wearing it for Church and special events, but it would accent even a casual outfit very nicely.
"Each replica diamond goes through a rigid selection process by our Say Hello Diamond experts. These specialists analyze the weight, cut, and shine of each stone before it can be called a Say Hello Diamond. Each replica diamond is polished, packaged, and presented to our Say Hello Inspection Team. From there, our inspection team begins a 3-step review process; Look, Shake, Ensure. During this process we analyze the physical properties and test the durability of each diamond replica. Replica diamonds that meet the rigid criteria set forth are lucky enough to be called, Say Hello Diamonds."

Arctic Zero Frozen Dessert Review!!
I am an ice cream aficionado. No matter what it's flavor, size or shape, I love ice cream. As most of you already know though, I have been on a healthier diet the past 2 months. That means no ice cream. (I did break the diet once for a bowl of Rocky Road...it was sooo good!). However, I found an alternative, and one that tastes absolutely delicious! Arctic Zero is a frozen dessert that gives you a healthy alternative to ice cream.
"Everyone remembers the old children's' rhyme about how we all scream for ice cream. But in today's more health conscious environment, ice cream has become the guiltiest of pleasures. Ice cream may make you scream all right, but in an entirely different way than we used to. Fortunately, Arctic Zero® has changed the equation. Now you can have an ice cream-like treat that has less than 150 Calories per pint. It's like a delicious-tasting frozen protein shake you can spoon."
Arctic Zero sent me some of their pints and bars for review. Right away, I tried out the Chocolate Peanut Butter. And from there I was hooked! The dessert tastes best when you let it sit for about 5 minutes; it reaches a smooth, creamy, frozen consistency, and the flavor is much richer. It was a little odd at first to be eating a chocolate peanut butter "ice cream" without chunks of peanut butter like most ice creams, but although you can't see the PB, you can definitely taste it! It is super yummy! My second favorite is the Mint Chocolate Cookie. Again, you don't have the cookie pieces, but the flavor is easily distinguished. I polished off the entire pint in one sitting! And the best part is that I didn't have to feel guilty-one pint of Arctic Zero has less than 150 calories!
The bars were also a big hit. These come in 4 flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Orange. The vanilla is my favorite, and it tastes just like an ice cream bar! All the taste without the calories; these contain only 85 calories per bar!
If you're looking for a healthy alternative to ice cream, I suggest you try out Arctic Zero. You can also visit their Facebook page or follow Arctic Zero on Twitter to stay updated!
Nutrisystem-I Made It! #NSNation
Another victory this past week involves dropping a clothing size. I have a skirt that has been hanging in my closet for quite some time. It was too tight to wear comfortably (I could get it zipped, but the waistband would literally hurt if I wore it for an hour or so). Because I liked it so much, I kept it for that vague "someday" in the future when I might be able to wear it. After realizing how loose some of my other clothes were becoming, I decided to try this skirt, and see if it would fit. Guess what? Not only did it fit, but it is now actually a little loose in the waist! Can you say excited?! I guess I'll have to go shopping soon for some new skirts. Right now I'm thankful for belts, because a couple of my other skirts are getting very loose as well. It's a good problem to have :)

Biore Skincare Review!!
Finding the perfect skincare products can be a daunting task. Sometimes you think you've found the solution to your problems, and then bam! You realize a new problem arises, or it didn't work as well as you thought at first. That's why I was so happy to receive a selection of products from Biore Skincare, a well-known name in the skincare industry.
I received the new Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser, Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, and Pore Unclogging Scrub for review. I tried the Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser for the first few weeks, and I was really impressed with the results. This is a unique product that uses Skin Purifying Technology to get the clean you need for your skin. Whether you have oily, dry or combination, the cleanser will give you a fresh, clean feeling, without overdrying. It leaves your face moisturized without being oily. This really is the perfect answer to your skin problems!
The Pore Unclogging Scrub has become my go-to exfoliator. I love the fact that this scrub has nice round beads to do the exfoliating, rather than the oddly shaped pieces of grit that can damage your skin. I use this every other day, and my face feels so much better after continued use! The scrub also contains salicylic acid, so it helps treat acne as well.
The final product, the Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, is a liquid cleanser that almost foams in your hand. It's gentle yet tough, and cleans deeply yet doesn't give you that tight or dry feeling. It's oil-free, and the best part is the cooling feel you get during use. The cool, clean feeling lingers for several minutes, and is wonderful!
After a couple months of using Biore, I have really been impressed, and will continue to use Biore in the future!

Maxi Skirts and Sweaters
I think pairing this short sleeve cardigan with my favorite black maxi skirt would be the perfect look for an evening around town this summer! I love stripes, and this cardi looks so cool and comfortable.
Trying to stay modest during the summer really isn't hard; especially with companies like Downeast Basics, that offer many choices in cool blouses or tees. They even have some new maxi skirts that I have my eye on-nice and long, with a variety of colors!
This is a sponsored post for Downeast Basics, however, all the points and views are my own.
Honeymark Manuka Honey Review!!
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the natural goodness of honey, and it is one of my favorite go-to for sweetener, an addition to my sandwich or favorite recipe, and even for some natural cures. Recently, I learned about a honey that takes my love for honey one step further!
Honeymark is an importer and distributor of natural Manuka Honey. For anyone unfamiliar with Manuka Honey, it is a monofloral honey produced in New Zealand from the nectar of the manuka tree. Purported to be one of, if not the, most effective and tasty honey in the world, I am now, after trying some Manuka Honey, completely in agreement.
I received a jar of the original Manuka Honey from Honeymark. I decided to try it out as a sweetener in my tea, and I absolutely love the flavor it adds! The Manuka Honey is very rich, and has almost a woodsy hint in the taste. It's very easy to spread on a piece of toast, or add to a recipe; the consistency is somewhat like a caramel syrup. I discovered that with Manuka Honey, a little bit goes a ling way. I have been using this quite a bit, and still have close to 3/4 of the jar left.
Manuka Honey can also be used for various skin concerns. It has unique antibacterial properties, and can be used to dress wounds, apply to fungal skin conditions, and has even been reported to help with acne. The uses are endless, and I highly recommend you try some Manuka Honey for yourself-you'll become a fan in no time flat! Check out Honeymark today; they even offer flavored Manuka Honey!!
"Honeymark is an importer of Manuka honey and a distributor of natural Manuka honey products. When Honeymark was founded, we believed that Manuka Honey was an untapped resource that, once more recognized, will become widely accepted and regularly used. Since then, we have seen this come to fruition.
- Made with active Manuka Honey from New Zealand
- Paraben Free
- Produced using all-natural ingredients
- Free of artificial coloring
- Free of synthetic fragrances
- Free of genetically modified organisms
- Free of mineral oils
- Free of artificial preservatives
- Cruelty free - no animal testing or animal ingredients
Undercover Waterwear-Modest Swimwear Review and Giveaway!!
I received a ladies Swimskirt with Leggings for review. This is one of the neatest pieces of clothing that I've ever seen. First off, the skirt is made from a special fabric that doesn't cling to your body while in the water, dries fast, and is breathable. That's not all, though-attached to the skirt is a pair of leggings, made from the same material. These extend further than the skirt by about 6 inches or so, and provide extra coverage, as well as preventing any embarrassing moments should your skirt float up. This is honestly the perfect solution to finding modest, comfortable and stylish swimwear!
Now, I have to tell you that it was a hard choice to keep these for myself. There are 3 of us "girls" that swim every chance we get, and the other 2 were quite jealous when they saw my new swimwear! I did, however, let M try them on once. I brought these on our recent stay in Chicago, but to our dismay, the hotel didn't have a pool. So, unfortunately, you won't get to see these in action, but I can't wait till next month when we'll be visiting a hotel-and yes, I made sure to make reservations at one with an indoor pool! I did learn, though, that these are great for more than just swimming. I also like wearing them during workouts, and karate practice. Very comfortable, and they keep me modest no matter what I'm doing! I am so thankful for Undercover Waterwear! They're running a summer special right now so you can stock up-buy 3 items, get 1 free!
"Modesty is the essence of a woman. There should be no conflict between modesty and vanity. At Undercover Waterwear these two components come together. With our modest swimdresses, women can look and feel good about themselves, on all levels. Our styles are so fashion-forward that some people actually wear our swimdresses as clothing.

Nutrisystem Update-The Plateau #NSNation
The Nutrisystem plan comes with a food log to keep track of your intake each day. I have to say, although I have heard of the benefits of a food journal for years, I never started one. Since starting NS, though, I have been using it. It is honestly a huge help in weight loss, as I can look back and see where I've messed up, or where I need to add more veggies...you get the idea. I can even keep track of my daily water intake with this handy log, to ensure I'm drinking at least 64 ounces a day. Just one more thing I love about Nutrisystem. Now, I'm off-I have a goal to lose a minimum of 1.4 pounds this week!

Lenovo Speaker System
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Lenovo for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Hey, have you all heard about the Lenovo speaker system? I just recently learned about the Lenovo M0520, which is a 2.0 speaker system that includes a main speaker (with built in amplifiers), and a sub speaker. This set of Lenovo speakers has a very stylish appearance, and would look good in the living room, kitchen, or at your computer workstation. The system looks really compact, which is a big plus for me. I want powerful speakers that I can bring with me on trips, but finding a compact yet "big sound" speaker system is extremely difficult! With 4 watts of power for a full, rich sound, and the small size, I think these would fit the bill.
These speakers work with computers, laptops, iPods, mp3 players, smartphones, etc. Whatever you'd like to hear from, the Lenovo M0520 speakers will get the job done! They also feature a USB-powered connection, so you don't need to fuss with extra cords or finding an electric outlet nearby for power. I love USB-powered speakers!
I am really impressed with what I have seen of the Lenovo M0520 speaker system. They usually retail for about $30.00, but right now, through May 21 (Monday) they are on sale for $11.99! I'm headed over to check it out. I really need a compact set of speakers to bring along on trips and vacation. As well, these would be useful for at home, when I want to play my iPod in the kitchen, or just to have set up at my computer desk. At less than $12.00 a set, you can't go wrong!

Elago Design iPhone Stand Review!!
Well, I recently discovered a product that makes video calls much easier, and really makes any feature on your smartphone easier to access and use.
Elago Design sent me their M2 Stand for iPhone/Smartphones, and I am impressed at how much I have used it!
The M2 stand is made of aluminum, and comes in silver or black. The stand is built to hold your phone at just the right angle-perfect for video calls, or easy access to your phone menu. No more tilting and turning; with the M2 stand you can reach any feature quickly. The stand is compatible with phones in many cases as well, so you don't have to remove your case every time.
The phone can sit in the dock either straight up or lengthwise. The stand also features a non-slip grip at the base of the arms, so your phone won't slide or fall out. Overall, this is a very handy tool!

#EclosBeauty Plant-Based Beauty! Review and Giveaway!
I had a wonderful opportunity recently to try some beauty products from éclos Skin Care. The unique thing about Eclos is that their products feature apple stem cells, extracted from a rare Swiss apple. These cells have been shown to stimulate skin cells, which makes the skin appear younger.

I received a kit of Eclos skin care products to try out, which included the Facial Cleanser Skin Prep, Cellular Activator Face Serum, Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream, Restorative Eye Cream, Instant Radiance Face Scrub,Skin Renewal Clay Mask and an Eclos Headband. I was excited about using these, because let's face it-everyone wants beautiful skin! It's a pretty easy to follow routine, that pretty is pretty much along the same lines of what I already did-wash twice daily, apply a hydrating lotion, eye cream, and a scrub every other day. I don't often do masks, but it's easy enough to add in a couple times a week!

The Skin Prep Facial Cleanser is a gentle cleanser that I felt really worked well. Many times when I see the term "gentle face cleanser", I'm a little leery, as they often leave my skin feeling oily or not completely cleansed. Not a problem at all with Eclos though; my skin felt clean and fresh, but not like it was being dried out. The serum and regenerative cream do a wonderful job of keeping my skin moisturized, without that yucky pore-clogging feeling many products give. My favorite step of the kit, though, is the clay mask. It's a wonderful product! After use, my skin feels so soft, smooth and fresh! If I had to choose just one step to continue in the Eclos regimen, it would be the clay mask.

I've only been using the Eclos skin care for a little over a week, but I know my skin feels and probably looks healthier and nicer in that short time!

Coby Attitudz Earphones Review and Giveaway!!
How many of you have an iPod or other device that requires headphones for listening to music? Just about everyone, right? It seems that every person you meet has a portable music device, and I have to admit-it's my must-have accessory on any road trips, workout, or walk around town. One thing I don't like, though, is trying to find comfortable earphones. As a matter of fact, I usually just go with my over-the-ear headphones, because I've never found a pair of earbuds that was comfortable. They're always too big or too small, or don't fit right...many pairs of earphones have passed through my hands, only to be passed on in disgust. So, when I was sent a pair of the new Coby Attitudz Earphones, I was excited, but not really expecting anything different.
I figured one of the kids would enjoy them, and that would be that. Just for fun, however, I tried them out before handing them over to a new owner, and to my surprise, they fit just right! I pulled them out, carefully looked at the design to see if there was any real difference, and couldn't discover any. They look like just an average pair of earphones. I tried the earphones again, and this time left them in for a while, to see if discomfort would come with a longer period of use. Again, surprisingly, they felt perfect! Needless to say, this is one pair of earphones that the kids will not be getting their hands on! The 'phones deliver a nice, solid sound, have a comfortable feel, and stay in nice and cozy. Even while jogging, the Coby Attitudz Earphones don't fall out. I'm impressed, and the best part is that these snazzy little pieces sell for just $7.99! You can't beat that-Coby has delivered a real winner with the Attitudz Earphones!
"Attitudz CVE53 – These spunky new earphones match consumers’ ever-changing style – and attitudes – with fun colors that reflect a range of personalities:

Eat More of What You Love-Cookbook Review and Giveaway!!
Seldom am I so excited about a product that I review. You may be thinking-"what's so exciting about another cookbook?". However, this is NOT your normal cookbook! I received a copy of Eat More of What You Love by Marlene Koch.
Many of you may be familiar with Marlene Koch, as she is the well-known author of many books dealing with baking with Splenda. I, however, had never even heard of the books, until I stumbled upon one in our local library. Of course, since I have been eating better, and doing some baking with whole grain recently, I was interested in a way to make foods without all the sugar. After trying out a couple recipes, I researched Marlene's other books, and contacted her to see if she'd be interested in a review and giveaway. To my joy, she said yes, and promptly sent me her newest book, Eat More of What You Love!
EMOWYL is a hardback book filled with over 200 brand new recipes, many of which are pictured in color so you can see the finished result. I browsed the book several times before deciding on 2 recipes to try. My Dad loves chile relenos, so the breakfast Chile Relenos Casserole was an obvious choice. This is a simple recipe that only calls for a few ingredients, all of which I had on hand, except for the peppers. So, after a quick stop at Wal-Mart, I made the casserole for breakfast the next morning. It's very easy to make, and prep time is only 10 minutes or so. Another 30 minutes in the oven, and you have a rich, filling breakfast!
The next recipe I tried was the Red White and Blue Cheesecake Cupcakes. I substituted a light cherry pie filling for the fresh fruit topping, but otherwise followed the recipe. You would never know these little cheesecakes are made with low and non fat cream cheese, light sour cream, and Splenda! They taste just as rich as the real deal, and were polished off quite quickly! Someone (who shall remain nameless :) even snuck one for breakfast one morning!
After my experiences with Marlene's amazing recipes, I am excited about being able to still "eat what I love", without feeling guilty about the sugar, fat or carb content. I am ordering more of her books, and am looking forward to a life of healthy eating! BTW, Eat More of What You Love made the New York Times bestseller list on April 29th!
Nutrisystem Update-Week 8
I recently received my next order of food, which included a new ice cream sandwich. (Or at least new to me, as it's not the same ones I've had the past couple months). They are GOOD! I love ice cream, and any form of ice cream treat. These really taste like the real deal, and are super delicious! I love being able to eat some tasty treats while on a "diet"!

20 Second Fitness-Completed!
Well, I'm a little late on this post, but I am so excited to finally have completed 20 Second Fitness! Let me tell you, this is probably the best workout program I have ever done. And I have tried A LOT of programs! Between the intensity, the minimal time required, the ease of bringing it along on trips...it's an all around winner! And results? I lost a total of 6 pounds during my 8 weeks of 20 Second Fitness. I also lost 3 inches from my waist, so I am super-hyped about that! When I pick out a shirt or skirt to wear now, I don't have to worry that it's a little too snug, or will be uncomfortably tight in the waistband. I am finding more and more garments that are looser than they've ever been before. After finishing 20 Second Fitness, I am seriously in better shape physically than I have ever been.
And the best part? Just because I'm at the end of the program, it doesn't mean I'm done. Nope, I'm starting all over again with week 1, because 20 Second Fitness has become a way of life for me!
If you want to lose weight, get in shape, or build muscle, I can't think of a better way to do it than with 20 Second Fitness. Check it out today, and I totally recommend you try it out. You will not be sorry! And remember, if you enter "hopes cafe" at checkout, you'll receive FREE shipping on your order!
Disposable Bowls
Could you imagine having to wash dishes for 18 people every day for a week? What on earth did people do before there were disposable dishes?! Now, rather than spending my evenings sweating over the sink or unloading and reloading the dishwasher, I'll be able to sit and visit, play games, or join the volleyball game out back. I may even pick up some disposable cookware, so we don't even need to wash the pans!
I wrote this post for Blogsvertise and BioandChic.com. All thoughts and opinions are mine; I have not purchased or received product/services from BioandChic.

GH Sports Athletic Top Review!!
I am a very active person; I would be considered a tomboy by many people. As such, I spend a lot of time playing sports (with the family, not on a team at all) and exercise every day. So, finding athletic wear that is comfortable and stylish is a huge deal for me. When I discovered GH Sports and browsed their selection of fitness apparel, I was very pleased-and even more excited when they offered to send me their Cap Sleeve Run Top for review!
The Cap Sleeve Run Top is available in 5 colors; I chose the violet. It is a v-neck shirt, and is the only v-neck I've owned that wasn't uncomfortably low-cut. The shirt is made of 100% flyweight coolmax. The fabric of my fitness wear is one of the most important things to me; too heavy and it's uncomfortable, too lightweight and I feel like it's not sturdy enough for what I need. The Cap Sleeve top is perfect. Lightweight enough that it allows for breathing, as well as a nice airflow, yet not too delicate. It wicks away the moisture from your skin, so it's great for our energetic racquetball games!
No matter what you're looking for when it comes to sport or fitness wear, I suggest you check out GH Sports today!
