Nutrisystem Week 3 Check-In #NSNation

I've decided, while being on the Nutrisystem plan, that rather than just post updates on my weight, measurements and such, I will also share 1 thing each week that I love about Nutrisystem. 

First, though, the update. The past week I've done pretty well. I think yesterday I probably ate a little more than the required 2 oz. of powerfuels with lunch. We ate at a Mexican restaurant after Church, and this was my first time eating out since starting Nutrisystem. I ordered fajitas with all toppings on the side, and just scooped approx. 2 ounces of steak onto a small plate. It's a little hard measuring out little strips of steak, but I tried my best! That, coupled with a Chocolate Peanut Butter lunch bar, made my meal. Oh, and lots of green and red peppers thrown in (with the fajita meat :) too!
So, in the past week I have lost exactly 1 pound. I also have lost almost (I mean just a hair less than) 1 inch from my waist. Not bad, especially considering my iffy lunch yesterday!

My Nutrisystem love this week is the lunch bars. As I already mentioned, they are great for lunches on-the-go or while dining out. However, they are wonderful at home too. I have been pairing them with large salads and 2 oz. of fish or other meat, to have a healthy, satisfying lunch. There are several varieties available too, so you don't get tired of a flavor. My favorite is probably the Double Chocolate Caramel, although I really like each one I have tried so far.
