I wasn't sure if I should call this a week 1 or week 2 weigh in, because technically I am just starting my second week, but since I posted last week about my first day, I guess this is considered week 2 :)
After staying on the Nutrisystem plan for 8 1/2 days now, I am pretty impressed. I have lost 1.2 pounds, which may not sound like a whole lot, but I am happy with it. Also, from what I've heard, that could be because I have less to lose, or because I was already very active before. So, it may take a little more effort to get the weight off! However, I am pleased with the weight I have lost, and I feel so much better just knowing that I am eating better than I ever have before.
Along that line, I have been amazed at how much I have over-eaten in the past! Even when I tried to be careful and limit certain foods and sweets, I never realized just how much I ate that was over the recommended serving size. Needless to say, even when I am finished with Nutrisystem (not for a few months yet :) I will continue to keep my portions much smaller than I used to!
As far as the food goes, I am happily surprised to find that I actually like all of them that I've tried so far. No, not all of them are on my top favorite foods list, but they all have a good flavor, and leave me feeling full. I honestly expected to be sick of the protein drinks every morning-I was prepared to force myself to drink them, if need be-but I found that I am actually enjoying them! The chocolate and coffee are my favorites, but the strawberry and vanilla aren't bad either.
