Branson Blast #5-Cold Stone Creamery Review and Giveaway!!

After a long day of sightseeing, fun and shopping in Branson, you might feel the need for a little pick-me-up. There is nothing better to refresh yourself than ice cream! And, of course as you're probably aware, one of my favorite ice cream shops is Cold Stone Creamery. While researching places to visit in Branson, I discovered that there is a Cold Stone location right along Hwy. 76, which is the main Strip. 

We visited Cold Stone after a tour out at Table Rock Lake, during the early afternoon (actually before we even ate lunch :). Needless to say we were quite hungry, and very ready for some Cold Stone goodness!

I decided to get adventurous and try something new, so I ordered the Mud Pie Mojo (a signature creation) but asked for chocolate ice cream instead of coffee. (For some reason even though I love coffee, I've never cared for coffee ice cream). So, my creation was chocolate ice cream, Oreo cookies, peanut butter, roasted almonds, and fudge. Can you say sweetness overload! Very rich, very sweet, very not-good-for-me. But. Oh. So. Good!! The gentleman who made my ice cream was very friendly, and let me eat the rest of the peanut butter off the spoon (yes, it was a disposable spoon :)

C, who was also with me, ordered the Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip (also a signature creation). This is one of my favorites, with mint ice cream, chocolate chips, brownie and fudge. C really enjoyed it, and said the mint was very refreshing after a slightly warm morning at the lake.

I've never been to a Cold Stone Creamery that had bad service, or any problems, but I must say the Branson location went above and beyond. Very fast, friendly employees, and helpful too! I wasn't sure if changing out ingredients (or rather the flavor of ice cream) on a signature creation was okay, but they assured me that it was no trouble.
