Branson Blast #3-Charley's Grilled Subs Review and Giveaway!!

Welcome back to another edition of the Branson Blast! Today I'd like to share with you an awesome place to eat while touring Branson. I'm sure most of you, if you know anything about Branson, have heard of Branson Landing-the ultimate shopping experience. (I'll be posting more about Branson Landing next week, so keep an eye out). It just so happens that walking around the Landing, shopping at all those stores, can get quite tiring-and leave you hungry! Don't worry though, because you don't even have to leave the Landing to find one of my new favorite sub shops-Charley's Grilled Subs! 

Charley's Grilled Subs is not your average sub shop-they specialize in Philly Steaks (which happen to be my favorite sub) but they also have chicken, fish and deli subs. In addition to your sub, you can order a salad, and choose from a variety of toppings for your gourmet fries. 


I brought my sister along with me to try out Charley's Grilled Subs, as it's always good to have a second opinion. After checking out the menu, I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Deluxe, which is topped with onions, green peppers, mushrooms and provolone cheese. As I was extremely hungry, I made it a combo with regular fries and a strawberry lemonade. C ordered a regular Philly Cheesesteak, and got a soda to go along with her meal. The young man who took our order was very helpful and friendly. After paying, we continued down to the end of the line, where our order was waiting for us. The restaurant was packed, but we were able to find a seat up front, so without any delay, we dove into the meal!

It. Was. Perfect. There's no other way to describe it! A philly cheesesteak sub that was cooked to perfection, with the perfect toppings (I love onion and green pepper!), and a generous amount of cheese! 

The fries were very tasty as well, and really didn't even need ketchup (I use ketchup with just about all fries, so this is a high compliment from me :). I will say that if you ever visit a Charley's Grilled Subs, be sure to order the strawberry lemonade-it was the perfect addition to an already perfect meal! Strawberry lemonade is probably my all-time favorite beverage, and Charley's has it down to an art! The perfect blend of sweet strawberries and tangy lemons. The meal was very filling, and I couldn't even finish my fries, so I shared with C. After finishing our meal, we decided that Charley's was definitely on our list of favorite restaurants!
