Spring Fashion Fling #1- Striped Shirt Review and Giveaway!!

I am so excited to be bringing back my favorite event from last year-the Spring Fashion Fling! While I know many of you are probably still experiencing some cold weather, we have had an abnormally warm winter for the most part, and I am joyfully donning my short sleeved shirts most mornings. However, for those of you who haven't been blessed with a winter like ours, here is something to look forward to :)

I stumbled upon StripedShirt.com some time ago, and was intrigued by the idea behind the store. Striped Shirt offers womens, kids and babies shirts in multiple stripe color variations. Whether you just want to match your family for a photo shoot, or you're headed to Disney and need an easy way for your family to stay together, then you need to check out Striped Shirt. 


I was sent a Maroon and Gold shirt for my review. When the package arrived in my mailbox, I knew this was a fun company-the envelope was striped, the tissue paper wrapping the shirt was striped, as was the business card-oh, and a couple Striped Shirt t-shirt-shaped stickers were included too! 

Once I opened the shirt, I was immediately impressed. See, I was expecting an average cotton t-shirt, not anything beyond. This, however, far exceeded my expectations! The shirt is super, super soft. The cotton/lycra blend gives it a nice fit, rather than just hanging like a normal t-shirt. The sleeves are a little longer than most women's shirts, which I really enjoy. (I do NOT like cap sleeves, and it seems like more and more shirts for women are only available in cap sleeve). Wearing the Striped Shirt is a joy, due to the comfort (did I mention how soft this shirt is?), fit and style. I received many compliments, and even after several washes, the shirt has retained it's shape and color.
