I receive the Slate Cascade Suit for review from Midnight Velvet. This is a beautiful skirt with matching jacket, in a cool slate blue color.
The skirt is 38 inches long (love the long length!) with elastic waist insets and a back zipper. The jacket is my favorite part of the set; it has a satin cascade color that is absolutely stunning! The jacket features a modesty panel that can be worn with the shiny satin side (that matches the ruffled collar) out, or the fabric which matches the rest of the suit. It is also removable, if you prefer to wear a different shirt underneath; I enjoy pairing the suit with a mock turtleneck for a different look. When I first tried this on, I could not believe how gorgeous it looked! It is definitely the perfect outfit for those special occasions, and I actually felt glamorous wearing this suit :) I can not say enough about how beautiful the Slate Cascade Suit is! As well, the suit is very well made, and seems like it will last (with good care) for quite a while. I will be saving this for extra dressy events!
