Mavea Inspired Water Filter Pitcher Review and Giveaway!!

Our family drinks a lot of water. We try to keep the kids to only a couple sodas a week, and have water as the staple beverage. Unfortunately, we can't drink our tap water. It's not bad, it just has a funny taste. (The kids use it to make lemonade or Kool-Aid, since that hides the flavor). So we started out buying bottled water, then that got too expensive and we switched to refilling the gallons. Much cheaper, but it is still an expense, and a bit of a pain if we run out during the day (the closest refill is 25 minutes away). So I was very excited about the opportunity to review the Elemaris XL Filtration Pitcher from Mavea!
When the package arrived I was very impressed with the quality and look of the pitcher. It looks stylish enough to have on your dinner table even with company over! I also love the soft, no-slip base and handle. This means your pitcher won't be spilling or tipping! I had to "install" the filter which is very easy; it simply pops into place. As directed, I filtered 2 pitcher-fulls before drinking any of the water. It tasted absolutely great! No more of the nasty city-water taste we get from the tap, this is fresh-tasting water.

One other feature I like about this pitcher is that I don't have to remove the lid each time to add water. The lid has an automatic pour-through lid that automatically closes when the reservoir is full.

So, my thoughts on the Mavea Filtration Pitcher? It is absolutely wonderful, and will be in constant use in our home!
