Build a Website Online

Have you ever tried building a website? I actually got started on my website-building journey when a friend needed his ministry website updated about 6 years ago. I bought a book about HTML, and jumped right in! There was some trial and error, but I was surprised at how easy it was to learn the language of HTML. Not to mention how amazing it is to see what appears to be gibberish code turn into a beautiful website!

From those beginnings, I eventually started helping other people with their websites, or building new sites from the ground up. I even built a couple sites with online stores, which was yet another new experience. When I first learned about an online website builder, I was thrilled! I have had too many times where the computer failed to save my work on a site and I ended up losing all my progress. As I have worked with an online site builder the past couple years, I don't think I have ever lost any work! And, of course, building online means you can see how the site will look as you design and create. Rather than doing the whole HTML, previewing to see how it will look in a web browser, and then going back to fix any problems-online site builders are my favorite way to work now!

I am participating in a blog campaign from Bucks2Blog for a online website builder company and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.

  1. My daughter took a class in college regarding websites. She is learning HTML and is very good. She did say it was a lot of work building a website, but she is doing a great job to display her artwork on it. I will have to tell her about the online website builder.
