Earthen InstantPeel Review!

Instant Peel-an at-home exfoliating experience! I received a pack of the Instant Peel for review. Right away, I noticed that each application was packaged in a separate envelope. I really appreciated this, as it made it easy to make sure I was using the right amount of product. There was no worry about using too much, it is all in individual envelopes. Basically, (after cleansing) you "steam" your face for a few minutes. I used this right after my morning shower, as that provided more than enough steaming! So, you squeeze some of the peel onto your fingertips, and start rubbing it onto one area of your face. Then, you keep rubbing and rubbing, and you can literally see and feel the dead skin peeling off your face! Obviously, you continue this process until you have applied to your whole face. Rinse, and pat dry. You're left with a healthy, happy face! The first thing that caught my eye with the Earthen Instant Peel is that it is a natural exfoliator, made with proteins and enzymes. And it's safe for all skin types! I have somewhat sensitive skin, and this didn't bother it. It really helps cleanse and remove dead skin, for a healthier, glowing appearance.

"InstantPeelTM naturally and gently peels away dead skin cells, debris and impurities to reveal skin's true vibrancy. InstantPeel isn't a facial scrub. The gentle action comes from InstantPeel's unique combination of proteins and enzymes, and is proven safe for even the most sensitive skin. InstantPeel is a natural exfoliator and an effective alternative to facial scrubs, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion, which can cause irritation. You can't overuse InstantPeel. Once the dead skin and debris are peeled away, InstantPeel stops working, revealing a youthful glow."

Defender's Guide For Life's Toughest Questions-Book Review!

I remember the first time I ever heard of Ray Comfort-we were given a copy of his audio cd, "Hell's Best Kept Secret". After listening to that several times, I was hooked! We began purchasing some of his other materials, and I really enjoy all of them. His teaching and writing style are clear and easy to understand-even the children can grasp what he is teaching. So, when I was offered a new book by Ray Comfort, entitled "The Defender's Guide To Life's Toughest Questions", I was thrilled! This book is perfect for students in the secular academic system (or even some Christian schools and colleges), or for anyone who just wants to have answers for the questions skeptics throw out all the time. There are 5 topics covered; Humanity: Rights and Suffering; The Bible:Biblical and Theological Issues; Science: Scientific Thought and Evolution; Philosophy: Beliefs and Worldviews, and Religion: God and Atheism. Each topic has many questions that Christians commonly get asked, including Ray's answer to each question. One thing that really caught my attention was how Ray turned the "conversation" towards sin, salvation and eternity. This is something that we often miss out on, and focus on getting the other person to agree with us on a subject-evolution, fossils, no contradictions in the Bible, etc.-but leave out the most important part; where will they spend eternity, and how they can receive forgiveness. It was a good reminder for me, as I am guilty of this all too often.
Another thing I appreciated with this book is that Ray doesn't avoid answering "hard" questions. He gives a clear, Biblical answer, and doesn't apologize for standing on the Word of God as the ultimate Authority. Many people want to be careful not to offend, and while Ray, obviously, is not trying to offend, he doesn't back down from the truth of the Bible.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in being able to defend their faith, and answer the questions that are thrown our way so many times. If we don't have the answers for them, who will?!
The Defender's Guide To Life's Toughest Questions can be purchased through New Leaf Publishing, here.

ShoeMall.com Review and $50.00 GC Giveaway!!

It's actually kind of funny; I used to laugh at the women who talked about their shoe collection. I was the odd one out, with 1 pair of sneakers, 1 pair of dressy shoes, and possibly a pair of boots. In the past couple years, though, I have become a shoe aficionado-although still not as bad as many ladies I hear talking! But, I do have a couple different dressy pairs, sneakers, casual, boots, and sandals. So, when I was given the opportunity to choose a pair of shoes for review from ShoeMall.com, I was thrilled! I have to tell you, I am picky about my shoes but there is one ultimate deciding factor for me when it comes to footwear-the heel has to be 3/4 inch or less. I find high heels uncomfortable, (not to mention that I'm already a little taller than average, and don't care to be any taller!). So, I was very excited to find these dressy-looking slip on flats while browsing the selection on ShoeMall.com
Nice, huh?! I was very excited about receiving the shoes, and opened them as soon as they came in. They look even better in person! I love the quilted and tasseling detail! They're very comfortable, too. They have a foam insole that makes for a very comfortable shoe. The shoe features a 3/8" heel (just perfect for me).

I was also impressed with the packaging. You can tell a lot about a product and company by how the item is packed, and these were no exception. They were wrapped very well to protect from any scuffing.
So, my thoughts about ShoeMall? I am very impressed! Fast shipping, excellent quality shoes that fit perfect (true-to-size fit), and very reasonable prices!

"Welcome to ShoeMall! We're the top online source for men's, women's, boys', and girls' footwear. We carry sizes 4 to 20 and extended widths from AAAAA to EEEEEE. We understand it can be frustrating to find footwear in the right size, so we make every effort to offer each shoe in as many sizes and widths as the vendor can make. And, we conduct fit tests on select styles to ensure the comfort and fit is as top-notch as the quality."
