I love trying new hair care products; it seems like there is always a new product that offers great results. And, with my dry tends-to-frizz hair, I am constantly on the lookout for something to help! I recently received a hair care trio from HBL (Health, Beauty, Life) for review, and these are definitely a help! The set comes with a Hydrating Shampoo, Conditioner, and a Hair Masque.
The shampoo and conditioner are for daily use, and work great for my hair. The shampoo gently cleanses, and leaves my hair clean but not feeling stripped. It's a very rich, creamy shampoo that easily lathers up. The conditioner distributes nicely, and only requires a small amount. My hair comes out soft and smooth, but not greasy or weighed down. It's the perfectly balanced system so my hair gets cleansed, moisturized and protected without any build-up or oily look/feel!
The Hair Masque is an intensive "treatment" that I use once a week. It's a wonderful product that I leave in for about 2 minutes, and my hair loves it! It's an ultra-hydrating, repairing, strengthening, and smoothing treatment! If you're looking for a simple 1-step way to get your hair in good health, this is what I would recommend! Of course, it works even better when combined with an HBL Shampoo/Conditioner system :)
"HBL products are pH balanced and stable to work with your body’s natural Acid Mantel Balance, one of your body’s first lines of defense! Additionally, a high pH opens the hair cuticle allowing color to fall out during the shampooing process while a low pH keeps the cuticle closed so color stays in during the shampoo process. All HBL shampoos have a pH between 4.5 and 5.5.
Sulfates are commonly used surfactants (cleansing agents) that can be damaging and irritating to the skin and hair cuticle. HBL shampoos use gentle surfactants that won’t jeopardize the integrity of the hair or irritate the skin.
Parabens are used as preservatives and may possibly be linked to various potential health issues. HBL formulas use a healthier alternative to parabens for product preservation."
