I do a lot of shopping online. Whether it's for gifts, books, or some new clothes, I love the ease and variety of online shopping. No matter what you're looking for, it's almost certain you can find it somewhere on the internet! Often after I finish shopping I get asked to complete a customer satisfaction survey. Or, while I am looking around the site, a box pops up requesting my participation in a survey.
For a long time I simply ignored these survey requests. However, it occurred to me that it is a valuable tool! What better way to share my thoughts, appreciation or dissatisfaction with a certain company or product than through these surveys? If there is an item I am looking for but can't find, I can ask about it in the survey. If I was impressed with the quality of my purchase, or received some extra help from customer service, then it is important to me to share that with the owner. I decided that the few minutes it takes to complete a survey is well worth it!
