Awesome Airsoft Pistols!

If you have young boys in your family, then you more than likely have a cap gun, BB gun, or airsoft pistol laying around the house. Growing up with 2 younger brothers, (toy) guns were one of their favorite toys. Whether it was cowboys and indians, a secret military assignment, a cop chasing the bad guy, or maybe an FBI agent, guns were almost always a major part of their playtime.

Once they got a little older, they started enjoying target practice with BB guns and airsoft pistols. I was often requested to join in on their target shooting. (I guess shooting was more fun with an older sibling there? Not sure, but they always wanted me out with them!). And since I was/am the "tomboy" of the family, I usually ended up shooting along with them :)

Airsoft pistols are neat for a number of reasons. They're more fun than a cap gun obviously, since you're actually shooting, not just pretending. I still love taking an airsoft gun out back and shooting at various targets! They are a great way to enjoy shooting and even get some target practice in when you can't make it to the gun range.

  1. Hello,

Airsoft is different from air rifles and pellet guns in that they use standardised 6mm plastic bb's that weigh far less than metal pellets or sabots, and are perfectly safe in a controlled play environment. Thanks a lot...

  2. Well Cap guns were originally made of cast iron, but after World War II were made of zinc alloy and most newer models are made of plastic..I like this topic..
