#MyBlogSpark Betty Crocker Baking Pack Review and Giveaway!!

Don't you love this beautiful fall weather? It sure took long enough to get here! And just in time to celebrate cool days followed by cooler evenings, Betty Crocker is introducing a new product-Molasses Cookies baking mix! I received a Betty Crocker gift pack from MyBlogSpark and Betty Crocker that included the *NEW* Molasses Cookie mix, Betty Crocker Apron, Mixing Spoon and Non-Stick Cookie Pan. 

I have to admit, I don't know if I've ever tried molasses cookies before. I just didn't think molasses sounded like a good flavor for cookies (I apologize in advance to all the molasses cookie lovers out there). However, I do love to bake and I was excited about the chance to try these without all the mess and time. So, the day the package came in, I donned my new apron, and started baking! The apron is very nice; I like the bright red color. For some reason, all our aprons are white-it must have been a guy that designed white aprons, because they make no sense to me! The red just covers messes so much better! And, in keeping with the red Betty Crocker theme, I pulled out my red mixing bowl :) The cookies only take a couple basic ingredients; 1 egg, butter and water. Very easy! After mixing, I placed the dough on the new cookie sheet. (Which, by the way, I am in love with). This cookie sheet is fabulous...but I'm getting ahead of myself. I baked the cookies for 10 minutes, per the instructions, and they came out perfect. Chewy and soft! I had to taste one before letting them cool fully, and with one bite, I officially joined the molasses cookie fan club! These are absolutely delicious! Bursting with spicy, sweet goodness! All the kids really liked them too, even E who asked why I was baking molasses cookies!

Now, back to the cookie sheet-this pan cleaned up easier than any other cookie pan I've used. After removing the cookies, there was practically no residue left on the pan! Definitely a keeper :)
