My Dad is a gourmet mustard connoisseur. He loves spicy mustard, brown mustard, and any new or unique flavors we find. So when I discovered Green Mountain Mustard, I knew this was something my Dad would love. I received a sample pack of the 4 flavors available: Sweet Hot Mustard, Horseradish Mustard, Jalapeno Mustard and Maple Wholegrain Mustard.
We tried them out soon afterwards, on a variety of foods. Of course deli sandwiches were the first (and favorite). My Dad tried the Sweet Hot first, and liked it so much he asked for a second sandwich! This is a unique blend of sweet maple, followed by a kick of red pepper. Definitely not too spicy for any weak-hearted mustard lovers, but it does give a nice kick to your food!

Next we tried the Jalapeno. This was not as spicy as I thought it would be (I like spicy, but not too much). Hotter than the Sweet Hot, but not so much I won't eat it. (Of course the guys thought it was great). The Horseradish Mustard is a creamy blend with a strong horseradish tang. According to Green Mountain, it is their most popular mustard yet! My personal favorite, however, is the Maple Wholegrain. Again this is made with 100% Vermont Maple Syrup, but still has a nice mustard-y vinegar-y tang! Delicious on sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc.
