Erin Baker's Baked Goods-Breakfast Cookies- Review!!

Cookies for breakfast? YES! And they're good for you too! These are absolutely awesome; if you don't believe me, then try one for yourself :)
I received a sample pack of products from Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods that included 2 Original Breakfast Cookies (Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk and Banana Walnut), 2 Breakfast Cookie Minis (Fruit & Nut and Oatmeal Raisin), 2 Organic Brownie Bites (Chocolate Chip Mint and Double Chocolate Chip) and Ultra Protein Granola. The package came in as we were headed out the door to the YMCA, so I brought it along with me. Of course, once I opened it I had to try something! I couldn't wait for 3 hours before tasting any of the yummy looking treats! So I decided to try one little bite of the Double Chocolate Chip Brownie Bite. Unfortunately However, it was so delicious I ended up eating the whole thing. Without getting a picture. It was that good. So I apologize that a Brownie Bite is missing from this photo of my goodies :)

The next morning I had the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Breakfast Cookie for breakfast. This cookie is humongous, as cookies go, and really made a very filling meal. And as it combines my 2 favorites, chocolate and peanut butter, you can be sure I liked it. It was very chewy and moist. The Banana Walnut tasted just like banana bread (I heated mine up) and was great with a glass of cold milk!
Sorry, I ate some before taking a pic :)

The minis are, obviously, smaller editions of the original, and both had the same great chewy texture. My favorite thing with these is that they are loaded with whole grain oats. I love baking with oats, and try to eat plenty; my only problem is I don't like regular oatmeal. So this is great to get my recommended daily servings in a delightfully delicious way!
The Ultra Protein Granola can be eaten like cereal, with milk poured over, or mixed in with yogurt...or right out of the bag, which is how I ate mine. This is a perfect mid-day snack. Whole grains, honey, peanut butter, and packed with 7 grams of protein in one serving-it doesn't get better than this!

So needless to say, I am totally sold on Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods. The breakfast cookies are my favorite, especially the PB Chocolate Chunk :) Everything I tasted was delicious though!

"I started baking & selling cookies at 9 years old, and I loved it so much that I made it my life's work…and yes my last name really is "Baker"!
It all began in 1994 when I rented the 4-H kitchen at the Whidbey Island Fairgrounds to bake my way to a better life. Inspired by my mom's healthy baking and armed with a KitchenAid mixer, I created a revolutionary new way to serve breakfast…the Breakfast Cookie was born!
For the last seventeen years, oats, fruit & honey have been the staple ingredients in my bakery, making us unique in our efforts to provide healthier food products. I take great pride in baking products with whole food ingredients which provide sustained energy and optimal nutrition. Over the years I have created many wonderful recipes to share with my loyal following. My Breakfast CookiesHomestyle GranolaBreakfast Cookie Minis and Organic Brownie Bites are handcrafted and baked to order, promising homemade freshness and flavor!
Simple, wholesome baking principles inspired me when I was a little girl. They still make perfect sense now that I am grown up! Bake with purpose, bake fresh to order, bake with healthy and wholesome ingredients. It's that simple.
