Part of looking good and feeling like a lady is smelling nice. It's probably one of my favorite ways to add a touch of "special" to an otherwise casual day or outing. Even if I'm just wearing a t-shirt and denim skirt with my hair in a ponytail (normal lounge around-the-house-wear for me), adding some special perfume can make me feel nice. So, while looking for companies and products to feature during Ladies Lookin' Good, I knew I wanted at least one perfume company, and I really found a good one! I found Nantucket Natural Oils, and as you can probably tell by the name, they offer natural perfume for both men and women. I received a 1/4 oz. bottle of the 24 Fauborg natural perfume. This is a very floral-based perfume with orange blossom, iris, jasmine, and amber notes, as well as a hint of vanilla.

It smells absolutely wonderful! The best part with Nantucket Natural Perfume, though, is that because it is natural, and not alcohol based, a little bit goes a long way. I dab a small amount on my wrists and throat after my morning shower, and the fragrance is still noticeable in the evening! I was told that a 1/4 oz. bottle of Nantucket Natural perfume will last between 9-12 months, and I can certainly see how. It is much longer-lasting than most store-bought perfumes, and it only takes a couple drops to smell nice for the entire day!
"Nantucket Natural Oils, The Fragrance Bar, was established in 1983 when John Harding discovered he has the one-in-a-million olfactory equivalent of perfect pitch. His first store, named "ESSENSE", opened on Newbury Street in Boston and in Edgartown on Marthas Vineyard in the early 80's. For the past 18 years, 1991 to present, he has moved his primary location to the charming island of Nantucket, known among other images, the famous whaling center producing ambergris oil, first used in perfumery. He's been sniffing his way to sweet success in the perfume industry ever since.
Frustrated by the high alcohol content and short shelf life of most designer scents, the effusive Harding set out to create his own fragrance formula.
There are three words out there that people associate with perfumes: sneezing, headaches and allergies. Most department store colognes and pure perfumes are made with 80 to 94% alcohol, the guilty ingredient that causes those adverse reactions.
John Harding's perfumes are made with natural oils and oils alone. After the island-based Nantucket Natural Oils boutique took off, the brand expanded nationwide and now has set up shops in Kenmore Square( Boston ), and in Newburyport."
Nantucket Natural Oils is sending a bottle of their best-selling Rain Perfume to one of my readers!
