Hey everyone, I am so excited about this review/giveaway opportunity! I recently received the Slim in 6 fitness kit for review from Beachbody, and just started it yesterday. Wow! I love this program! As you can tell from the title, the program is designed to help you get fit and in shape in 6 short weeks. The kit comes with 3 dvd workouts. You start out with the Start It Up! dvd, weeks 3-4 you move onto Ramp It Up! and the final 2 weeks are worked with the Burn It Up! There are also 2 bonus programs included; Slim and 6-Pack, a 16 minute ab workout, and Slim and Limber, a 17 minute flexibility routine. In addition, you receive 3 bonus gifts-a 6-Day Express Diet Plan (3 options to help you lose up to 6 pounds, and 6 inches in your first 6 days), Cardio Core! Express workout dvd, an up-tempo cardio workout that works your core, and a Slim Training Band to provide resistance during your workout.
So, yesterday I sat down and read all the included information, wrote down the "before" measurements, weight, etc. and my goals. I have done the Start It Up! workout twice now, and I really enjoy it. Yes, it makes me sweat and work hard. Yes, I woke up a little sore this morning-but that means it is working! Debbie makes the workout fun and easy, with plenty of variety thrown in. I really appreciate how easy it is to follow her lead. No intricate dance steps or fancy footwork. The exercises are very easy to follow, and Debbie does a great job of explaining and demonstrating each move.
