Home Sweet Home #1-Cafe Press Review and Giveaway!!

Welcome to the first day of  my Home Sweet Home event! I am really excited about this event, and I have some great products and companies lined up to share with you all! To start off, I wanted to revisit an "old friend" company-Cafe Press! I have to tell you, Cafe Press is one of my all-time favorite places to shop when I'm looking for gifts. Even when I'm shopping for a picky person (we have 2 in our family..sooo hard to shop for them!) I can always depend on Cafe Press to have a unique item that I know they'll love. And, there's always the option of creating your own design on a multitude of products to make your gift one-of-a-kind. So, now that I have that out of my system... :)
Cafe Press graciously offered to let me pick out a couple items relating to home decor for my review. I chose a Wall Clock and a Keepsake Box. I will be keeping the clock for my brother's birthday-he absolutely loves German Shepherds, and here is the clock I picked out:

Isn't it gorgeous? I love the painted look, and I think this really brings out the beauty of German Shepherd dogs. The clock itself requires 1-AA battery to run, which is included. I can't wait to see J's face when I hang this on his wall!
For my second item I chose a Keepsake Box with a Lipizzaner Horse design on it:

Growing up I loved reading books like The White Stallion of Lipizza, and since then I have been fascinated with these amazing equine acrobats. (One of my dreams is to actually go to one of their performances, but for right now it is still just a dream :) But, while I'm waiting, this keepsake box is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Lipizzan horses! You can choose either black or mahogany framing, and I went with the mahogany. I think it brings out the picture a little better. I have the box set up on my shelf, and have stored some of jewelry in it. It has a velvet lining, so it is great for this use. The lid is hinged and snaps shut very securely. 
I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of both these items from Cafe Press, and am even more certain that they will remain one of my #1 shopping sites!
