Fine Linen Fabrics-Skirt Review and Giveaway!!

Most of you know I only wear long skirts, and it is getting harder and harder to find modest clothing. Of course I can make my own, but somehow I just don't have the time to sit down and sew like I used to! Soo, I always like finding new companies where I can purchase skirts that aren't outrageously priced. Well, I found such a site at Fine Linen Fabrics. I actually found the website because they use Tropical Breeze fabric, and that has become my Mom's favorite material for jumpers and dresses. But, I was so impressed when I saw the pricing on the skirts! Miranda graciously offered to make me a custom skirt for review, and here is the skirt I received:

This is a new offering from Fine Linen Fabrics, with a ruffle around the bottom. The skirt features an elastic waist (so much easier than worrying with buttons or hooks!), and fits perfectly. And, quite honestly, I think it is gorgeous. The small black and white checked fabric is very lightweight, so it is perfect for the summer heat we will be experiencing before we're quite ready for it! (Can you believe we're over halfway through April already? Where did the year go?!) Anyways....the skirt is the perfect length, which is always a huge issue. Being custom made, Miranda was able to get it at exactly the desired length, and I am super-happy because I almost always end up having to add lace or a ruffle of my own to most skirts. I'm a little taller than average, and I like my skirts down to the ankle, so almost every time I purchase a skirt I have to pull out the sewing machine and do a little fixing up. This skirt is great, though, and is just long enough without being too long! It is very comfortable, and works great for either casual run-around-town, or if I pair it with a dressier blouse, I can wear it to Church. And the best part is, it goes great with my boots! An awesome skirt!

Fine Linen makes modest clothing for women, girls and babies. Check out these adorable sunbonnets-my little sister loves wearing bonnets! (Probably due to her fascination with the Little House books :)

"Fine Linen carries all of your fabric needs.  We feature Tropical Breeze fabric which is a brand of wash 'n' wear fabric, meaning that ironing is hardly necessary! This fabric is very durable and perfect for all of your sewing creations.

The most popular Tropical Breeze is 65% polyester and 35% cotton.  However, 100% cotton and 100% polyester is also available.

We also offer a selection of modest clothing for girls and ladies.
Please take a look around at all of the fabrics and  clothing.  If there is a certain color or print you would like, please contact me, and I will see what I can do for you.  I look forward to supplying your fabric needs.  Have a wonderful day!
