Miche Bag Review!!

Have you all heard about Miche Bag? They are the neatest purse I have ever seen! In fact, they even make me (who never carries a purse if I can help it) like bringing my purse along! The basic idea of the Miche Bag is that you purchase a base (available in 4 styles/sizes), and then you can buy as many shells as you like, in all different designs, colors and styles. So, when you need to change your purse out to match your outfit, or just want a different look-it's as easy as taking off the old shell, and putting on a new one! Go from casual to dressy purse in less than 30 seconds, and you don't have to fuss about moving all your necessities from one bag to another! The shells attach to the bag magnetically, and they stay on really well. At first I thought a magnetic system wouldn't be the sturdiest way of keeping the shell/bag attached, but it really holds well, and honestly looks like a classy, stylish purse!
I received the Big Miche Base and 2 shells for review. I LOVE all the pockets and room inside the bag! Plenty of room for everything I need! The first shell is more of a casual look; it's called the Sandy, and is a caramel colored canvas. There are 2 interchangeable ribbons to use with this shell, a blue/white stripe (a nautical look) and a Hawaiian-type floral print. This shell reminds me of a day at the beach, or a family summer picnic. It's very fun and casual! The 2nd shell is very glam and dressy looking. This one is called the Oakley, and is a metallic pewter color. I love the ruffled look of this shell, and it easily and quickly turns your purse into the perfect bag for a night out.

Turns into a beautiful purse!
And look at all the room! Pockets galore!
"On the way home from work in the fall of 2004 Michelle Romero did something most women have done - she spilled on her favorite handbag. Frustrated by the thought of hunting for a replacement then transferring all the contents, she wished there was a way to just change the outside of the bag. The idea immediately popped into her mind to create a bag with changeable covers. Not to be deterred by her lack of sewing skills, Michelle grabbed her super glue and scrap fabric, took apart the stained bag, and made the very first prototype. With her rough creation in hand, Michelle set out on a mission to bring to life the Miche bag.
Michelle showed the prototype to her friend, Annette Cavaness, who immediately loved the idea. Annette used her knowledge as an accessories buyer to work with Michelle on developing a business plan and perfecting the product. The combination of each of their unique strengths and experiences made it clear that the two were destined to be business partners. Together they met with a patent lawyer and a sourcing agent, and soon the product became a reality. Michelle and Annette both felt that the name would be a very important part of the product. After brainstorming many ideas the name “Miche” (pronounced, "MEE-chee") was suggested after the nick name Michelle’s mother-in-law gave her. Naturally, the name for the many changeable covers became “Chelle” playing on the aspect of the cover being a “shell” for the bag as well as finishing the name Michelle.
The first samples were tested personally by Michelle and Annette. They loved changing the bag each day to match their outfits without the hassle of changing the contents from purse. They also love the convenience the Chelles provide by stacking 20 Chelles in the space of what two small handbags would use. It quickly created excitement among family and friends, who continue to provide a wide variety of ideas for Chelles they would love to have. Many new products and ideas are being developed with the endless possibilities of the Miche Bag. And to think, it all started with a spill!"
