Truth Be Told Game-Review and Giveaway!

Wow, our family has had a lot of fun trying out all the new games we found at CHITAG. One that has quickly become a favorite is called Truth Be Told, by Buffalo Games. Buffalo Games has several fun party games that would be great for your holiday get-togethers! 

Truth be Told is a game that we have enjoyed playing with friends, or just our family (with 8 in our family, we’re basically a party!). Here’s how to play: each person gets a turn being the host (or hostess :). The host reads one of the cards (“Truth be told, I would love to learn...”) All the other players write down what they think the host wants to learn, and the host also writes his/her answer down. The players pass their cards in to the host, who then shuffles and reads the cards out loud, without divulging who wrote what. Then, the players vote on which answer they think is the the host’s answer. You score points by guessing correctly, having other people vote for your bluff, or, if you’re the host, then you score points by people vote for your answer. It can get pretty wild, and is so much fun to play! Some of the questions are pretty easy to guess what the host’s answer would be (especially when it’s just our family playing), but other questions are harder to figure out!
