Sharon Mann Fitness DVDs Review and Giveaway!

Welcome to Day 1 of A New You For The New Year! I know, everyone always makes great New Year's Resolutions to eat better, exercise more, etc. in the new year. Many times it just doesn't work out, or we get discouraged and slowly fall back from our resolutions. But, I'm going to share a lot of great companies with you over the next 4 weeks, that will make it easier to keep on towards your goal of getting fit, healthy and beautiful in 2011! From fitness dvds and books to healthy snacks, great hair and skin care products to shapewear, A New You For The New Year is all about feeling and looking better as we start a new year!


First off, I'd like to introduce you to Sharon Mann and her energizing workout dvds.


First, a little bit about Sharon:

Sharon generously sent me a couple of her dvds to review, and even included a giveaway as well...so keep reading! The first day I tried out the Circuit Training dvd. This workout focuses on cardio muscle-training, and basically gives you a fast, fun, full-body workout! In addition to burning calories (read- burning fat!), you'll improve your balance, agility, coordination, and speed. And when I say fast, I mean fast! This is not a program for someone just wanting a slow walk in the park. Sharon Mann's Circuit Training is definitely a cardio workout! I absolutely loved this program, although I admit I had to work my way up to the advanced level. A group of athletes are featured on this dvd, showing modifications so you can choose to work from 3 different levels-beginner, intermediate and advanced. I also received the Kickboxing dvd, and had a lot of fun with that as well. As you probably already know, I have been learning karate for a while, and while kickboxing is not the same as karate...it does incorporate kicks into the workout! The Kickboxing dvd starts with a warmup, then moves into a fast paced workout combining punches, kicks and squats. It also includes a sequence on core conditioning and flexibility, to ensure you're working all your muscles. Again, this was a fast, fun workout that I really enjoy!
