As people are starting to plan for the new year (which many times includes a resolution to eat better and exercise more), you can find some very helpful resources on the web. One such resource is It is free to join, and has some great tools to help you lose weight, or maintain a healthy weight. When you sign up and enter your height, weight, etc. CalorieCount gives you a personalized food log, activity log, weight log, and other handy tools. You are shown the ideal weight for your height/body type, and you can keep track of each calorie intake and fat-burning exercise on this website! One of my favorite parts is the recipes section. I decided to make one of the meals, and here are the results:
Chicken Stir-Fry

18 oz. Chicken Breast, diced
1 Small Yellow Squash, sliced
1 stalk Broccoli, chopped
1 medium Onion, diced
5 Baby Carrots, diced
1 large Green Pepper, diced
1 large Red Pepper, diced
3 cups Instant Brown Rice
1 tspn. Chicken Bouillon

Fry chicken and veggies. Add bouillon; stir fry. Serve over cooked brown rice.

My thoughts:
This was a delicious recipe that I already have plans to make again for the family! Everyone loved it! It's a very tasty way to add loads of vegetables to your diet, and even the kids liked this! (Came back for seconds!) A couple members of the family added some soy sauce for added Chinese-type flavor, but I thought it was great as-is.
