Friis Coffee Savor Canister Review!!

Spectacular Gift Shopping Guide!!!

Day 28!!

Well, once again I'm sharing a gift idea for coffee lovers...I mean what better gift is there?! If you want that perfect cup of coffee, you've got to have the perfect place to store your coffee! I was given the opportunity to review the Friis Coffee Savor Canister, and while at first glance this may look like an average canister, there are some huge differences!

"The key to rich, full-flavored coffee is limiting the effects of these external forces through proper storage. Your coffee loses flavor with exposure to light, air, moisture, and carbon dioxide released after the roasting process.
The Friis Coffee Savor keeps your coffee fresh by locking in flavor while blocking out light, air and moisture. The Friis Freshness Valve vents away flavor destroying CO2 gas. When stored in a cool, dry place, your coffee stays fresh longer. The patented Freshness Valve is the key to eliminating trapped CO gas.
The valve is constructed with a unique filter that allows carbon dioxide gas to pass through without allowing oxygen or other gases back in. This one-way valve removes the trapped gas that breaks down and destroys coffee flavor over time. All coffee is roasted, both whole bean and ground. This roasting process heats the coffee bean and caramelizes the sugars in coffee. It is this roasting process that creates the flavor degrading gas. Coffee is perishable much like fruit, milk or bread -- keeping coffee fresh is very important. Without a freshness valve coffee can not be kept fresh. With Friis, save money and keep your coffee fresh."

Almost out...need a refill!
When I received my Friis canister, I immediately tried it out...why waste any more time? I want my coffee kept fresh and tasty! The Friis freshness valve is an ingenious idea, and it really keeps the coffee fresh. The canister comes with a year's supply of freshness valves, a measuring spoon, an Art of Flavor booklet, and the Getting Started instructions. The vault holds 16 oz of coffee, whether whole or ground. Right now I have my caramel vanilla coffee beans in there...that is some coffee I definitely do not want losing it's flavor! I feel much more confident that my coffee will keep the flavor I love when it's in the Friis canister. I highly recommend you check out Friis if you're looking for a gift for a coffee lover!

  1. Hi, now that you've been using it for a few weeks, what do you think of it? Yours is the only review I've seen so far.
