WallBuilders "Original Intent" Book Review & Giveaway

"WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that "the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained."
"WallBuilders' goal is to exert a direct and positive influence in government, education, and the family by (1) educating the nation concerning the Godly foundation of our country; (2) providing information to federal, state, and local officials as they develop public policies which reflect Biblical values; and (3) encouraging Christians to be involved in the civic arena.

I love reading about American history, and WallBuilders has a great selection to choose from!  From books to dvds to audio messages, there's something for every age group.  I was sent the book "Original Intent: The Courts, the Constitution and Religion" book for review.  Written by David Barton, the founder of WallBuilders, this is a GREAT resource for anyone interested in learning about the founding father's views on religion, why the constitution was written, etc.  It is filled with hundreds of quotes from men like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, etc.  Find out what they really believed about "separation of Church and state" (a quote that is not even found in the constitution, yet seems to have more weight in the courts than the Constitution does!).

"An essential resource for anyone interested in our nation's religious heritage and the Founders' intended role for the American judicial system. Original Intent combines hundreds of quotes from primary sources with the author's exposition on hot topics such as revisionism, judicial activism, and separation of church and state. A substantial appendix encompasses full texts of the founding documents, biographical sketches of numerous Founders, and extensive reference notes."

WallBuilders is allowing me to give away the copy of "Original Intent" that I received for review.  I have read the book once, but it is still in like new condition!
