Review & Giveaway-Brightfeet Lighted Slippers!
Today I have a review and giveaway with the Brightfeet Lighted Slippers! I was sent a pair of the Striped ladies Brightfeet slippers to review, and these are really neat! They are slippers with built-in lights in the front of each slipper, to make it easy to walk around at night. We went to a hotel recently, and it was so handy to use these instead of turning on the big room light and waking everyone up. These slippers also come in Camo, Black, Navy and Beige.
"BrightFeet™ Slippers are nightlights for your feet. Wherever you go, the lights go with you™. Checking on kids, midnight snacks, trips to the bathroo
m, whatever the task, BrightFeet™ Slippers are the right light for you at night™.
No need to wake up others by turning on lights in a dark room. Convenient and easy to use, BrightFeet™ Slippers provide up to 25' of light by simply stepping into the slippers. Compared to traditional nightlights that only illuminate a certain area, BrightFeet™ SlippersThe Perfect Gift for any occasion. "I really enjoy these slippers...when I get to use them. My younger sister keeps stealing them :) She thinks they are great!
"The idea for Brightfeet™ Lighted Slippers came from our founder and experienced inventor, Doug Vick, who after getting up in the middle of the night, bumped into the bedpost while making his way back to the bed. The next day, realizing there were probably millions of people who have done the same thing, he began to work on a product that would allow a person to get out of bed at night and easily and conveniently navigate “hands free” around a darkened house. A few days later the idea for Brightfeet™ was conceived."
And now, the exciting news! Kevin from Brightfeet Lighted Slippers kindly offered a 2nd pair of Brightfeet Slippers for one of my readers! I know whoever wins these will love them!
Go to Brightfeet Lighted Slippers and tell me something you learned, or what color slipper you'd pick if you won.

Giveaway-Novica $75.00 Gift Certificate!!
There are all sorts of neat items on this website, from Handmade Jewelry to Vases to Ponchos to Musical Instruments. These items come from places like Mexico, Central America, Thailand, West Africa, Bali and Brazil! They also have very pretty Turquoise Jewlery and Silver Necklaces.
"The purpose of NOVICA is to create a revolutionary system through which the artists and artisans of the world can display their fine works to a global audience of prospective customers. NOVICA does not charge artists any fees for listing their items on the website. Furthermore, artists remain fully independent--they are free to raise their prices, lower their prices, or remove their items from our website. By cutting out the long strings of middlemen, NOVICA allows both consumers and artisans to get the most out of each and every transaction." "The NOVICA global team comes from different cultures, countries and language sets. We knew we needed a name with no language barriers. A name with no cultural barriers. A new name that could be incorporated into the local language of all of our international offices. We couldn't have a name like Globeshop, which can't be pronounced in Spanish and many other languages. We couldn't have any "sh" sounds. We couldn't have "l"s, or "r"s, or "z"s. We needed a name that each of our artists could claim as their own, just as each of our clients would know it was theirs. We also needed a name that meant "new" - because we were creating a new system for the world. So, looking at the Latin root of "novus" as a base, the name NOVICA was born."
And now, I am excited to announce, Novica is offering a $75.00 Gift Certificate to one of my readers! There are several ways to enter, so pay attention!

Ecostore USA Review and Giveaway!

I was recently given the opportunity to review 2 products from Ecostore USA. EcoStore was founded in New Zealand over 15 years ago by Melanie and Malcolm Rands. Their company soon expanded, though.
"The original customer base of ecostore NZ was comprised of mostly ‘Greenies’ and organic gardeners. However, it was not long before testimonials from other parents (many of whom were unaware of the benefits of eco-friendly products) began to pour in with wonderful news of their children's allergies and eczema clearing up. Many noted that any respiratory issues were healing, and many lingering chronic conditions were disappearing.
By simply changing to the genuinely clean and green ecostore products, people were experiencing surprising and unexpected improvements in their health. As the notion of using products with “No Nasty Chemicals™” gained popular appeal, ecostore quickly outgrew its location in the Rand’s basement and the business moved to a storefront in Auckland, New Zealand."
I chose to review the Laundry Liquid and the Cream Cleanser. I used the laundry liquid first (seems like there's always laundry to do!!). Overall I really enjoy using this product. There are only 2 drawbacks that I see: 1, There is a very strong scent to the liquid. It isn't the best smelling laundry detergent I've ever used! However, the clothes come out smelling clean...not like the detergent! 2, There is no measuring cup or anything. It simply says to use 3-4 tablespoons per load (who brings a tablespoon with them to do laundry?) This was easily remedied though, and I would use this product again. Ecostore says, "Ecostore USA uses 100% Certified Organic Eucalyptus oil and plant-based ingredients, making it ideal for washing your children’s clothing. Conventional laundry liquids often leave chemical residue on bedding, clothes and even skin. This product is a wonderful, healthy alternative."
Next, the Cream cleanser. I really liked this product from Ecostore. "You'll be amazed at the versatility of ecostore Cream Cleanser. Using only plant-based ingredients, including Lemon Verbena oil, this wonderful cream cleanser can be used everywhere from the bathroom to the stovetop. Not gritty. Not harsh. Works wonders on stainless and just about anything that gets in its way ... gentle enough for glass stovetops. A little goes a long way." I don't have a glass stovetop to try this on :) but I did use it to clean our counters and sinks. It left our white sink nice and shiny, and has a nice hint of lemon scent.
Ecostore USA also carries products for babies, hair care, bath soap, pets, and other household items.
The Giveaway:Ecostore USA is giving a $25.00 Gift Certificate to a Hope's Cafe reader! They offer free shipping on orders of $25.00 or more, so this is a great deal!

Look What's Missing-Book Giveaway!!

For many years our family has used materials from Chick Publications. Chick Publications is probably most well known for their cartoon Gospel tracts. In addition to these wonderful tracts, however, they also publish many books. Chick Publications was founded by Jack Chick, and has been printing Biblical materials for over 40 years.
Their website says, "...the work has flourished. Jack Chick has written and published hu

Proof of the effectiveness of Chick tracts is the fact that testimonies continue to pour in from around the world. Many current testimonies cover two or even three generations. People recount how Chick tracts were instrumental in their salvation thirty years ago, then in their children’s salvation and now in the salvation of their grandchildren."

Chick Publications sent me 2 books by David W. Daniels. 1 for review, and 1 for a giveaway. The hard part was picking which one I wanted to keep! I finally decided to read "Answers To Your Bible Version Questions". I have read one of Daniels' books before, and really liked it. This one was not a disappointment! This book has 7 chapters full of common questions you hear from people about the King James Bible. Some of the topics covered are: How did God preserve His Words til today? Who were the translators of the KJV? What is the Septuagint? Didn't the Roman Catholic Church give us the Bible? Is the Lord's Prayer in your Bible? and many, many other questions. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is sincerely interested in learning the differences between the AV 1611 and all other versions out there. One thing I found interesting was that every verse in the King James Bible was examined 14 times by over 50 translators each time! That is so amazing to me! The KJV obviously had God's Hand upon it's translation, yet many people today think that the modern versions are the same, just "easier to understand". Not so!
Now, for the giveaway! From Chick Publications, a book entitled "Look What's Missing" by David W. Daniels. This book covers issues such as: What words describing the Trinity are completely removed from most Bibles? What verse takes away the Deity of Jesus Christ, by removing a single stroke from 1 Greek letter? How did removing 1 single word make Jesus into a liar?
"If you believe God preserved His words, where can you find them?
History shows that there are two streams of Bible texts, and they are not the same. Obviously, both of them cannot be correct.
Respected linguist David Daniels proves beyond a doubt how we can know the King James Bible is God's preserved words in English. He answers many of the difficult questions the so-called "experts" throw against the King James.
Whether you want to defend the King James Bible or learn which Bible you can trust, you will find the answers here."
This is a great book! And now you have a chance to win it!
